President Trump Invites Loved Ones of Injured Guard Soldiers to White House
Former President Donald Trump revealed on the weekend that he has invited the loved ones of a Guard member tragically killed last week to come to the presidential home.
He noted that he conversed with her family and they were âheartbrokenâ.

US army specialist Beckstrom, twenty years old, was lost her life in a shooting on last Wednesday in DC.
Her comrade, Staff Sgt Andrew Wolfe, 24, continues receiving treatment in serious condition.

The commander-in-chief stated heâs proposed a White House visit for the parents of both soldiers of the state Guard.
âI said: âWhen youâre able, because thatâs a difficult moment, come to the White House. Weâre going to pay tribute to Sarah,â Trump addressed the press. âAnd likewise with Andrew, recover or not.â
Community Response
Community members gathered over the past few days at Webster County high school in the state to honor Beckstrom.
Both the soldiers had been working with the state guard as part of Trumpâs national effort to aid public safety in DC.
Remembering Beckstrom
âSarah was the type of pupil that educators desired. She conducted herself with quiet strength, a warm expression and a upbeat demeanor that inspired those around her,â Jarrod Hankins, the principal of her previous school, stated to the press. âShe was sweet, compassionate and always willing to help others.â
Service plans for Beckstrom are still being arranged.
Judicial Actions and Policy Adjustments
Law enforcement have accused a 29-year-old individual from Afghanistan with a charge of murder and two counts of violent assault while armed.
The event prompted the government to suspend refugee claims and halt providing entry permits to owners of passports from Afghanistan.
Status of the Airman
Andrew Wolfe, a resident of the city, started his military career in early 2019 and is a 2019 graduate of Musselman high school, as reported by the AP.
He is still undergoing care and is âfighting for his lifeâ, West Virginia governor the governor said on a news program.
The stateâs top lawyer Pam Bondi stated on the program that she planned to meet with Wolfeâs family.

Sarah, from Summersville, graduated from her high school in mid-2023 and joined the military shortly after, working as a MP with excellence, according to the state guard.
âShe had a lot of kindness and she absolutely had fortitude,â the governor addressed the audience at the service. âThough her time lasted far too short, she has left a mark thatâs going to last forever.â
